The Canadian automotive sector is also a large part of our economy. Producing top quality vehicles and parts is key to the continuing success of this sector in Canada. With new automotive designs and parts coming online every year there are consistent challenges to ensure these vehicles and parts are reliable and safe. Specialized NDE has played a major role in supporting this industry since inception.

As one of Canada’s oldest industries, the tracks, locomotive wheels and rail cars require periodic inspections to ensure that no accidents can occur. Many of the thousands of miles of track and rail cars have been in service for over 25 years increasing the risk of failure. Specialized NDE can provide these in-service inspections on these components. In addition to this, we have provided inspection services to one of Canada’s largest rail car manufacturer in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and the AAR standard.
